Top Controls

Row 0 (the top row) contains all playback and musical controls. These buttons let you control tempo, scale, musical key, and more.

Columns 1-2: Adjust tempo

Column 1. Tap to decrease tempo by 5 BPM.

  • Default: 120 BPM
  • Range: 40-240 BPM
  • Step: ±5 BPM per tap
  • Hold: Continuous adjustment

Major Scale
Column 5. Bright, happy sound. Intervals: 0-2-4-5-7-9-11
Minor Scale
Column 6. Dark, emotional sound. Intervals: 0-2-3-5-7-8-10
Pentatonic Scale
Column 7. Simple, universal. Intervals: 0-2-4-7-9

When you change scales, existing notes snap to the new scale — out-of-scale notes move to the nearest in-scale pitch.

Column 22. Re-applies an undone change.
  • Clear: Removes all notes (can be undone)
  • Undo: Supports multiple levels
  • Redo: Restore undone changes
