Synth Presets
Each melodic track (Melody, Chords, Bass) has multiple synth presets you can select. Use the long-press gesture on the mute pixel to browse and select sounds.

Column 0. Long-press any track's mute pixel to enter preset selection.
Preset Indicator
During selection, a bright pixel climbs through available presets.
How to Change Presets
- Long-press the mute pixel (column 0) for the track you want to change
- After 0.5 seconds, preset selection mode activates
- A bright indicator appears at the current preset
- Continue holding — the indicator moves to the next preset every 0.7 seconds
- Release when you hear the sound you want
The sound previews automatically as you cycle through presets.

Bell (Preset 1)
Bright FM bell tone with harmonic overtones.

Soft, breathy wind instrument sound.
Square Lead (Preset 3)
Classic chiptune-style square wave lead.
PWM (Preset 4)
Pulse width modulation for lush, evolving sound.
Sync Lead (Preset 5)
Hard sync oscillator for aggressive, cutting lead.

Preset Persistence
Your preset selections are automatically saved and restored when you reopen the app. Each track remembers its last selected preset independently.
